This is my Special Act of Love

I love being inlove but how do I usually show my special act of love as a daughter, sister and friend? I am really not expressive in terms of love yet I show it in such ways that I could keep it from being corny. Also, I am not really used to giving gifts with hugs and kisses and everything else that’s quite obvious.

As a daughter, I simply show my mom that she can always count on me in times when she needs a little help. I usually thank her for the things that she always do to make us satisied. Sometimes, I tease her which is also a way of showing that I love her. The fact that my father is an OFW, I regularly call him once a week using my own number. It has been my way in telling him to always take care of himself and that I have been so blessed to have them both with my mother.

As the eldest sister, on the other hand, I usually tease both of my younger siblings. I tease them because I want them to talk to me, as if "KSP". I actually do this everyday yet sometimes it ends up with real fight. hehehehe.

Moreover, I can’t deny that I’m not too showy when it comes to friends. I just want to let them feel my presence and concern about anything that comes by and go.

These are all my confessions about my special act of love.

Me, Myself and I

I am Dianabelle J. Gajo, a female and I am studying currently at the University of Immaculate Conception. At this moment, I’m 18, turning 19 sooner and I’m a five footer. I have a small face and moles on my face which my mom said that it was my asset. Before I was conscious about it but then I realized that its my trademark. Regarding my face, I am not that fasionable when it comes to clothes and accesories. I am simply simple.

Personally, I befriend those who befriend me, yet I don’t like "social climbers". Though i don’t like "SC’s", I am emotional, especially when it comes to those who are close to me. As a friend, I am patient and understanding. However, as a student, I think I’m quite irresponsible and sometimes depends on others thoughts and ideas. Though as a sister and daughter, I am simply talkative and sweet though I always tease my siblings.

What Makes A BestFriend Unique From A Special Friend?

Each of us has somebody which we can turn to. In some ways, we develop a relationship between that somebody. With that relationship, we experience different emotions. The experience is brought by neither we call bestfriend nor special friend. But, what makes a bestfriend unique from a special friend?

I don’t know how to exactly distinguish a special friend from a bestfriend. However, through my experience, a bestfriend would be the closest person to you. Not only the closest but you consider that person as one of the precious gifts that God had given you. Both of you have almost the same likes and understand each others’ side. Problems may come but still that person helps you to break through. You consider the person as your best friend because of the incomparable qualities that he/she has.

On the other hand, a special friend for me is someone who makes you feel undefinable. You might have different likes but you feel something special for that person. You treat the person special. although he or she had done nothing. These what makes a bestfriend unique from a special friend.

Wanted Leader: Men or Women?

I am a woman and I don’t want to promote here gender bias. Every men and women have different views in life which means that they have different perceptions. For that circumstance, some men are superior than women while some women are superior than men. We cannot deny the fact that everyone has its own way to be superior through leading a particular society.

Leading is not an easy task. There are instances that a person is inborn wih such quality while some develop it in such time. A person could develop his/her leadership quality depending on the field that he/she has interest. For these reasons, I suppose that I can’t choose for any of the two to be wanted as a leader because I believe that everyone can be a leader and it doesn’t matter about the gender.

My Say For SK Soon-to-be-Election

     Hello again bloggers!

Politics is everywhere and that includes SK which means Sangguniang Kabataan. As we all know, Sangguniang Kabataan is an organization which involves youth participation in a particular society. The organization dwells to serve the country as a unity of young leaders which are appointed with different tasks. They are also given a chance to gain power and respect from the society which is an overwhelming pleasure to be considered for that matter.

In line with these, the Sangguniang Kabataan election is fast approaching. Voting will then again be an issue. However, in our “baranggay”, I have not been that participative in such organizational activities. In spite of my ignorance, I still do believe that the right one deserves to be in the right position.

Nevertheless, we can’t deny that there is always deceitfulness in any type of politics.

The Most Valuable Thing That I have

Through the years, I have been blessed to have a crazy but happy family. When I was still a kid, I was so close to my father that I cry if he goes to work and I can’t say byebye. He’s also so generous that there was a time when we ate at Pizza Hot and he’s money was not enough for the bill, thank God that my cousin brought an extra money. Hahaha! That was really so funny! For my mother, she has been a cool mama for me for such reason that she rocks the house whenever she’s so angry. She’s also the best cook in the whole wide world. She is sometimes corny, that’s why I love her so much because for me, corny is sometimes funny. My mother can’t afford to leave us that’s why when my younger sister existed, she had resigned for her work and lived as a housewife for 15 years. My younger sister? she’s fat but she does’nt feel ashamed of it because she has confidence in her way, that’s what makes her the best sister for me. But sometimes, we can’t prevent teasing from each other because of our incompatible personalities. Same with my younger brother– our youngest, he doesn’t want to loose in an argument. But inspite of that, he is sometimes sweet and is also a good dancer! hehehe.

When my younger brother was already at 6 — at his 1st grade, my father decided to go abroad and worked at Suadi Arabia for the sake of our education. First I was so excited because I thought it would make our lives better. But when the years passed, I realized that I had been missing my fathers’ presence as a very-well man to us –his family, neighborhood and ex- coworkers. We had a little gap between my father and had a hard time to talk with him freely about what happened to me the pass few years. I really wish that we were rich so that my "papang" — what I usually call him, needs not to go abroad. I tell you, it’s so hard hard to have one of your family separated just because of the less job opportunities here in the Philippines.

So here’s my point. I consider MY FAMILY as the most valuable Thing that I have for the rest of my life.
